The importance of clean air in the industrial work environment is well known. A progressive industry with its sophisticated operations utilizes an increasing number of chemical compounds of which many are highly toxic. It is possible that using such materials results in vapors, gases, particulates, and/or mists in the air of workplaces in concentrations that exceed safe levels. Pollution Systems designs and manufactures air emission control systems specific to your unique operating needs.
Cyclone Separators are extensively used for dust collection. Their use for the separation of solid particles or droplets from gas Streams has a history of several dozens of years. Particles of 5 microns and over, or agglomerates of fine dispersals, can be adequately collected with laid of cyclone separators of the more refined designs. As mentioned, collection of dust in cyclone separators is based on the action of inertial (centrifugal) forces upon dust particles.
The basic function of wet scrubber is to provide contact between the scrubbing liquid (usually water) & the particulate, gases to be collected & control this contact can be achieved in a variety of ways as the particles are confronted with so called impaction target-which can be wetted scrubber or individual droplets.
In conventional pulse-jet bag houses, bags are mounted on wire cages to prevent collapse while the dusty gas flows from outside the bag to the inside during filtration. Instead of attaching both ends of the bag to the bag house structure, the bag and cage assembly generally is attached only at the top. The bottom end of the assembly tends to move in the turbulent gas flow during filtration and may rub other bags, which accelerates wear. Pulse Jet Bag Filter is cleaned by a blast of compressed air.
